  A Gorgeous area of the planet! We did the full loop backwoods hike, counter-clockwise over 3 days. The first day of 20km was mainly old growth forest with many streams, hills and valleys but not any real "vistas" for photo ops. stayed Night one at Seal Cove and opted to camp on the beach. Day 2 we hiked ( in the pouring rain ) to Refugee Cove and camped there. Campsites were well marked and relatively clean. All the trail was well marked, a few areas were starting to get a bit overgrown from branched but nothing too bad.. This hike is very challenging with huge climbs and is only recommended for experienced hikers with good cardio.

  What a wonderful park! I walked the Coastal Loop in the off-season. It took me two nights. There are heaps of look-outs along the trail and with a bit of luck you can see eagles, seals and more wild life. The trails are well maintained, the campsites small and inviting. Unfortunately, there are no campfires permitted and there no food-ropes/storages. For hiking, I highly recommend this park over the Kejimkujik.
